Landscape Changes to the HUG campus II

Schrupp excavating arrived this morning to do the bulk of the earthmoving for our new landscaping plan. They are building up the new bus parking area, and removing the gravel from our old parking areas to make way for the gardens and walking paths that will take its place.

SPARC

Work has finally started on our latest house, the Small, Practical ARC (SPARC). Mark, Marlon, and Dug are raising the SIPS panels, and hope to have the outside walls in place this week. The SPARC is a 3 bedroom, 2 story, 1140 square foot home that is meant showcase the best that resilient living can be.

The Three-Legged Signpost

Paul and Ryan were deep in a brainstorming session when Janna came in with a problem. She needed a portable sign post for the farmers market right away, and wasn't sure how to build it. Of course the gentlemen dropped what they were doing to help a lady in distress, and in no time at all, had designed and built a neat little folding signpost for Jenna.
